Anthony (Tony) Bockhart
Quantity Surveyor
Tony has over 35 years’ experience in the construction Industry. He is a graduate of Durban University of Technology, UNISA and Durban Trade Technical College in South Africa, obtaining qualifications in Carpentry, Construction Cost Management and Quantity Surveying. Tony is also proficient in Planning and Scheduling on platforms such as MS Projects and Primavera P6.
His background includes vast experience as a Building & Civil Engineer Quantity Surveyor for a number of Public Financed initiative schemes for the Ministry of Defence Estates and as a Commercial Manager for the South African Government Central Government Offices. Tony has worked in a number of countries in Australasia, Central Africa and the Middle East including, Iraq and Afghanistan. He is an affiliated member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) and the South African Association of Quantity Surveyors (Corporate Member). His memberships also include that of the South African Estate Agents Board.
Tony’s amiable personality engenders a positive and meaningful relationship with his clients and his motto; “Anything is possible in a reasonable timeframe at an acceptable price but miracles just take a little longer and could cost just that much more!”
